It's a good thing that we didn't get Karlsson, since all he wanted to do was punch Kadri. That would have gotten messy in the locker room.

Agreed.

Seems like he did a good job keeping his cool for the most part. When the refs are just ignoring cheap shots though, you eventually gotta stand up for yourself. Giving that wiener one punch and then taking his stick away and throwing it like that, lol, that was amusing and results in less suspension time than a bad hit from behind.

This is why i would like the Leafs to some how get Simmonds. Everyone knows come playoff time that someone like Wilson will eventually start making runs at the Leafs talent to throw them of there game. Would be nice to have that player who sticks up for there team mates no matter what. Plus he can (frank)ing score to boot. I think this team needs a Simmonds type player just as much as a Dman.
